Bizzonthetrack is Making it Happen for Himself with His Latest Release
Bizzonthetrack (born Bisi Kuti) is never not working. On the day of our interview, he is speaking to me from his studio in Nigeria. “This was the best thing I could ever have done for myself as an artist, to get my own set up like this..being able to record whenever I want is such a blessing” he shares.
I ask him how much time he spends there and he jokes that instead, I should enquire about how much time he spends at home. He has a single dropping in the next few days and he lets me know that it is a little teaser for a project he is preparing to drop later this year.
Right now, he finds himself on the cusp of a lifelong dream realized, but he remains grounded in his reality.”You have to love this shit man, cause it sure ain’t easy” He shares that even though he’s in the studio every day, he has to keep his graphic design business going on the side in order to fund his music.
His latest single, “Know Me” features up and coming artist Blizzy and is what he describes as “a love song about intention and commitment-how love should be about transparency and trust”.
